Siamun

Siamun
(reigned c. 978–950 BC)
   Throne name Netjerkheperre. Penultimate king ofDynasty 21. Successor of Osorkonthe Elder but of unknown origin. Little is known about his reign. He may have undertaken a campaign against Gezer in Palestine, but his identification with the unnamed ruler who took the city mentioned in the Bible is speculative.
